The 2007 Milwaukee Brewers

88-74 will be their final record. Making the playoffs for the first time since 1982. At least I hope. Ben Sheets will return to form and the addition of Jeff Suppan will help their bullpen stay fresh through out the season.

Geico Cave Man To Star in TV Show

I don't know what to think of this. At one point it's the ultimate compliment. An ad so loved that they decide to use the caveman in a TV show. Another part of me is sad because Phil Hartman is dead and he made the caveman so beloved as the Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer. I'd really like to see Hartman give this life, unfortunately his insane wife wouldn't let that happen.

I hope the Geico Caveman becomes a little more fun loving. This guy kind of has a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully he'll be happy with his new found caveman fame.

So Long

So the Packers let go of Ahman Green. He signed with the Houston Texans for a guarenteed 6.5 million. That's what everyone forgets with the current NFL. It's not how long they sign for, it's how much they're guarenteed. Looks like the Packers felt he wasn't worth the trouble.

Green was fantastic for the Green and Gold and I'm gonna miss him. His powering running seemed to suit the style of the team from 2001-2004. In fact he out performed even Favre those seasons. He became the face of the franchise. Too bad running backs only last a couple seasons.
