I Am (Not So) Legend
Sometimes I think Hollywood rolls out a movie just so they can show Manhattan void of people. I am Legend is one type of movie. Predictable plot that basically centered around New York City being empty. Vanilla Sky was a similar vehicle. Complicated plot that basically was developed to show NYC empty.
For an empty crazy New York give me Escape from New York or The Warriors.

and didn't several TEOTWAWKI books/tv programs recently point out that the subway system is only dry because of manned pumps and that many streets in manhattan would in fact be under water after about 4 days?
Yes, that show did make it seem like New York is on the brink of being flooded.
I also feel that show took a lot of liberties.
